Gracie and Belle (first in a series of stories of a lovely Scottie and pugas adventures) seemed to be getting into trouble often, but this time was a memorable time. Just the night before the seven-fish dinner (Vigilia di Natale) on Christmas Eve, Gracie and Belle decided to go for a walk in the woods near the house. Gracie, the mastermind of the whole adventure, wanted to show Belle her new friend Missy the squirrel. She never imagined that the snow would get that high and they could not find their footprints back home. After a series of adventures in the woods and as the day was coming to an end, Belle was able to find her master. After their rescue they vowed to themselves, aNever again!a During their escape they realized how fond of each other they were, even though many times they would get on each otheras nerves.
