As a former teacher, the Sammy stories began when one of her students asked if she would tell a story about a little skunk. From these stories came, 'The Adventures of Sammy the Skunk'. There are eighteen stories with 'Life Lessons' at the end of each story. Each life lesson pertains to something that has happened in the story. It includes a question for children to think about, a scripture verse, a truth about God, and a short message about the love God has for His children.
