Dust your miniatures off and deploy them in battle with the PEN Wargame! Take your Lego minifigures, 3D-printed .stls, Warhammer 40k armies, Star Wars Legion squads, or any other figures and put them to work with a brand new PEN system! The new PEN Wargame allows you to pick your own models and build custom unit profiles from over 75 different characteristics and 35 different powers. Build an army from any story, or create your own, as you explore the literally quadrillions of possible unit builds. With simple explanations, only eight pages of base rules, and endless strategies, PEN is the first and last wargame you will ever need. Players battle it out over the center objective in one of five different game modes: Collect & Escape, Position Secured, Assault & Defend, or Total War. In each mode, controlling the central objective means the ability to deploy more units later in the game, responding to the shifting battle and needs of your army! For each skill roll, players roll a d6 for each model in the unit (unless characteristics or weapons say otherwise) and add the unit's skill level. For each dice total of 7+, the unit scores a success, totals of 12+ score two successes, and natural 1's automatically fail. These intuitive mechanics, combined with endless possible variation, make for an agile and exciting wargame ready for casual gamers, 3D printers, strategy players, and LEGO collectors alike.
